Stamp Duty is a tax which is placed on all properties bought in England and Northern Ireland. If you purchase a residential property between July 8th 2020 to 31st March 2021, you only start to pay Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) on the amount you pay for the property over £500,000. Use our calculator to work out how much Stamp Duty you can expect to pay on your new home.
